Did you know the company before you joined ? What led you to us in the first place?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ve joined PerkinElmer a little bit over a year ago.\nBefore joining, my interaction with PerkinElmer was first through various lab\nrelated events. Then as an organizer of scientific seminars for PhD students association\nat \u201cCurie Institute\u201d, where I was doing my PhD, I has contacted and invited the\nPerkinElmer Recruiter for a workshop. This event increased my interest in\nPerkinElmer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a Scientist, my interest was first piqued by\nPerkinElmer\u2019s numerous scientific innovations and then grew when I discovered it\u2019s organizational culture that\nencourages collaboration and professional development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>What can you remember about the\nfirst days?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The first\ndays were very exciting and a bit overwhelming. I had everything to learn in\nterms of the structure and the internal site procedures and global policies.\nThankfully, <a>I found lots of help and guidance from my\nnew colleagues which made the learning process easier and more enjoyable.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>What is your favorite thing about\nyour job? The company?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>What I like\nmost about working at PerkinElmer is how dynamic and fast paced the company is.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As I move\nfrom one project to a new one, what I love the most is the diversity of, not\nonly the tasks involved in accomplishing them, but also of the scientific\ncontexts. Thus, it\u2019s very stimulating <a>and it\u2019s a real\npleasure to have a job with no tedious routine at all, a job that brings new challenges\nevery day<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, I\nappreciate the amount of autonomy I have in managing and organizing my time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Has there been anything that has come as a surprise?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>When I\njoined, I was told that PerkinElmer is a dynamic company, but I still was\nsurprised by the changes that happened since I\u2019ve joined, and even more\nsurprised by how well everyone seems to have developed the ability to adapt\nwell and quickly. It is good to be a part of a company that evolves and make\nthe necessary changes to face the challenges of a fast-moving economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>What would you still like to\naccomplish at PKI?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I would\nlike to perfect my skills for my current role and continue to learn and grow. I\nwould also like to make a difference in the development of existing or future\nprojects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>What would you say to candidates\nwondering about joining PKI?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I can\nreassure those who hesitate about joining PerkinElmer, that if you\u2019re looking\nfor an interesting and fulfilling job among skilled and kind coworkers, then\ncome and join, PerkinElmer is the right place for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>What advice would you give to\ncandidates looking to apply to a similar role or to the PerkinElmer Life\nScience team ?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Don\u2019t be\nafraid of change and new challenges !<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In May 2019, I&#8217;ve started as a Field application Specialist (FAS) at PerkinElmer.
