On Thursday January 23rd, I had the pleasure of organizing with my colleague Sabine Berranger an Advanced Training for Revvity\u2019s Multimode reader \u201cThe EnVision\u201d, at the Drug Discovery and Preclinical CRO \u201cOncodesign Services<\/a>\u00a0\u201d.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The training was both theoretical and practical. It started with a technical presentation about the EnVision and its user interface. The second part had place in front of the instruments with groups of 4-5 users. The aim of the training was to showcase the capabilities of the EnVision and facilitate its handling (optics management, protocols creation and editing\u2026etc).<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>

The presentation included an overview of the newest Revvity’s Alpha kits in the field of oncology, which could be run on the EnVision Xcite. <\/p>

<\/p>

The practical part had a special focus on the on the importance of optimizations when setting an assay reading protocol for the first time. A plate with different volumes of fluorophores was used as a case study to demonstrate the impact of measurement height optimization on fluorescence signal.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n
