It’s always rewarding to see a Revvity technology move beyond a demo and become an integral part of an exciting scientific project.
I’m delighted to see that Julie Bergalet and the team at Alaya.bio successfully used Revvity’s homogeneous internalization assay, PhSense™, in their work presented at the American Society of Gene & Cell Therapy (ASGCT) Annual Meeting.
Their poster highlights the potential of Alaya.Bio’s platform for universal in situ CAR-T cells generation.. As part of the validation of this innovative approach, PhSense™ was used to monitor, in real time, the CD3-mediated internalization of Scfv-grafted nanoparticles in Jurkat cells, providing valuable insights into the mechanism of action.

As a Field Application Scientist, this is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job. Julie was among the very first scientists to evaluate and implement PhSense™ in her project. From the initial demonstration through several rounds of assay optimization, it was a pleasure to support the development of this application and help establish robust experimental conditions.
Seeing those efforts contribute to data presented at an international scientific conference, and knowing that this promising project is moving toward its first-in-human clinical evaluation, is incredibly gratifying.
Congratulations to Julie Bergalet and the entire Alaya.Bio team on this exciting milestone. I look forward to following the next steps of this innovative program.
