On July 22nd, I had the pleasure of delivering a Victor Nivo™ hands-on training at Alaya.Bio, following the installation of their new multimode microplate reader.
Earlier this year, the team discovered the Victor Nivo™ during an on-site demonstration and had the opportunity to use the instrument while optimizing Revvity’s PhSense™ homogeneous internalization assay for their nanoparticle internalization project. It is always rewarding to see a technology progress from an initial evaluation to becoming part of a customer’s daily research workflow.



As usual, the training began with a theoretical session covering the instrument’s capabilities and best practices, followed by two hands-on practical sessions at the reader.
Both sessions were highly interactive, with many questions and discussions, and it was great to see all users quickly become comfortable with the intuitive Victor Nivo™ user interface and workflow.
I’m delighted that Alaya.Bio has chosen Revvity for both its microplate reader and reagent solutions. Supporting researchers from technology evaluation, through assay optimization, to instrument implementation is one of the most rewarding aspects of my role as a Field Application Scientist.
