Last Thursday, May 7th, I had the pleasure of visiting L’Oréal for an HTRF demonstration on Revvity’s Victor Nivo microplate reader.
The demo was organized in two parts:
🔬 A wet lab session dedicated to performing the HTRF assay.
📊 A practical hands-on session on the Victor Nivo, followed by the reading of the previously prepared HTRF assay plates.
I would like to warmly thank Madame Elodie Binet, Madame Florence BOIRRE Florence and Mr. Elian Thomas for welcoming me into their lab and for the great discussions throughout the day. I truly enjoyed performing the HTRF assay and demonstrating the capabilities of the Victor Nivo together with them.
The proof of concept was successful, and the initial results were fully consistent with the expected performance of the HTRF kit, highlighting the robustness and reliability of the technology.
Hopefully, this marks the beginning of a successful implementation of HTRF technology at L’Oréal, bringing its many advantages for sensitive and efficient protein detection.
