It’s 2015 and like every year, an english debating tournament is being organized by the French Debating Association (FDA). Since I did participate in this tournament during two years as a member of Paris-Sud University Team, it’s sadly not possible for me to continue as a debater but the good news are that I can still participate as a judge.
On Wednesday March 17, I had the pleasure to be a part of the jury for the FDA debate between Ecole Polytechnique and HEC.
The motion was : “What doesn’t kill you, only makes you stronger”. Polytechnique defended the motion while HEC played the role of the opposition.
There were good arguments and humor in both sides, thus the debate was very entertaining. Polytechnique’s team won the debate thanks to its good team work, structured speeches and the many good points of information (POI) that its members asked.
